It has now been over one week since Dorian Veyne, loyal apprentice to our esteemed Archivist Xelphion, departed on what was officially described as a “low-risk investigative assignment.” Dorian was last seen on the western route from Carlin towards Ghostlands, in a mission said to involve reviewing “forbidden tomes” long sealed by the Order. Since then, not a whisper has returned. Archivist Xelphion, deeply concerned but still composed, stated:“Dorian was eager. Too eager, perhaps. He believed knowledge was light. I warned him, some lights burn the soul instead of illuminating it.” We are urging any available and trusted members to speak with Archivist Xelphion if willing to participate in a discreet recovery effort. This is not a search for the dead, this is a test of loyalty. And perhaps... of courage.
